The Orion Codex is a framework of guiding principles.

It is not a political party.

It is not a government.

It is not a rigid rulebook that attempts to prescribe every decision.

It provides a foundation from which people can ask better questions about their lives, their communities, and the direction of society.

People may examine it, challenge it, discuss it, and voluntarily apply its principles.

And because the Codex begins with evolution, our understanding of its implications must also remain capable of evolving.
